From time to time we all get sick, what's important is what we do after we have become sick.
Please make sure that you call. SMS or messaging services are not the best options as there is no way to make sure that your message has been received
Please call as early on as you can so we can make sure that we can cover your shifts, I would prefer to get a call at 0200h saying your sick then 1 hour before your shift is to be started.
1st - look after your self, make sure you have someone to check on you and you keep your fluid intake up
If you have vomiting or diarrhoea you need to stay away from work for 48h after you have your last symptom. This is really important as we need to make sure that we do not spread what you have with our customers or workmates.
