G'day, In this video, we're going to talk about the cafe layout. And although the cafe is not set 100% ready for service, this video is only about how the tables are laid out. Because we have such a small cafe, it's really important that we make sure we utilize our space correctly and give our customers the best experience. One of the key things is keeping everything in line, what we've done is we've made some marks on the walls so that you know where the legs of the tables have to line up to. So for table one, you can see this line here, you know, she lines up with that line on the floor, which lines up with the leg of the table.
And we've done the same thing for every table so that when we move our tables around for different functions, or to meet customer needs, we have the ability of putting things back straightaway where they belong. So there's the mark for table two if you're wondering how these figured out. Originally, titles on tables on the diagonal have two chairs distance between one table and the next, which in our place equates to approximately three tiles. For longer tables that are sitting back to back, we'll have three chairs space, and that just leaves enough room for the guests to sit halfway to the table. And for our crew to get behind and cleaning /Â service the table.
For the longer tables, we've put in two marks. That way when you're in a rush. So there's always going to be one on the left and one on the right. And you just need to make sure that the tables go back between those two lines has to marks there and to max there.
From the bench on the tables are going to be back to back. So not on an angle. We allow for one stool and two chairs, once again to give us enough for him to service the tables. And for people sitting on the bench seats to be comfortable.
On the alcove. Because they own or an angle we allow one stool and one chair and you'll notice that these tables are also on the diagonal. And they also have the marks on the walls to go from the wall to the line to the leg of the table. But also would like you to take note that the tables are on that line. So this leg is on that line. And if you look at the other leg, it's also on that line. So when you walk into the cafe, what you should see is this nice display and everything's nice and neat and laid out.
It's important to remember that as these first impressions account.
