Resort Restaurant - Adding ingredient into Resort Restaurant

In this video, we're going to show you how to set up a new ingredient in resort restaurant. So the first thing to do is to make sure that you've got resource restaurant open and you're in the home screen and then double click on the ingredient icon.

Once you're inside the ingredient, go up to new ingredient, and now, move over to the Bidvest / Bidfood website. And just select the top line of the product you're going to be adding. So in our case, we're adding some chocolate buttons and make sure you go all the way to the end of where the number is and then right hand click and copy.

And then ALT TAB will get you to resort chef in a hurry and then Control V.  And that'll load all the information we need to get the first part set up. Next thing we're going to do is put in a stock code. And that's located at the far right hand side.  And now we have to set up the units in yielding. So what happens here is, is we tell the computer what our minimum purchases in our case, it's one packet and we use it by the gram. And we get that information from the website for the Bidvest / Bidfood.

So you can see here it says we buy it by the 2.5 kilos or a or a packet is what they refer to it as. So that's how we need to refer to it in the system. And then we go back over to resort chef resort restaurant and press save. And it's going to ask you how many packets in a gram or how many grams to a packet so you just give us a bit of logic. So in our case, we want to know how many grams or audible packet So in this instance it's 2500 grams and then click on Finish.

Once you've done that now end of the price, and the price is found on the website $19.63,  and click on save.

and that's how we add the ingredient into resort restaurant.
