POS - How To Use Split Payments and Gift Cards

In this video, I just want to go through how to do split payments, in particularly how we deal with gift vouchers where they have a certain amount of the gift card. And then they have just pay a certain amount by cash. So obviously you ring up your sale like normally go to checkout, go to split payment, and then choose how much they're going to be paying. So in this case, we're gonna be paying with a $25 voucher. So as you can see, it puts a $25 voucher in the leftover how much they need to pay in the next part. So you just click on the checkout, and then send it to voucher and still the pay 695 you can check that out. And you can send that to cash, or credit card or of course they're paying. And then of course, you need to print out a copy of the receipt. So we're going to reprint the receipt, we just wait for the printers as normal. And then we take the receipt that's printed out and we attach it to the gift card. And if the gift card still has money left on it, because I don't have used the whole card, we actually attach that printout with the remaining balance and put it on their card and then a second copy goes into the cash drawer so that when I'm reconciling I know what's going on.
